Our Story

Founded in 1993, our popular original Eastern Avenue bakery in Lynn has been warming the hearts of Massachusetts North Shore residents through their stomachs for over two decades. Since then, we have opened 3 other locations, Sutton Street in Lynn, Main Street in Melrose and Reading Mass. We employ the most talented decorators and bakers in the area to create unique cakes that always impress and taste delicious. Our 4 stores carry over 25 types of pastries, 10 varieties of cookies, cakes, tortes, pies, and several types of bread, not to mention all kinds of dinners to go from our kitchen, soups, and an extensive selection of delicious hot & cold sandwiches.

On an average week, the D'Amici's staff bakes 1,000 pounds of cake and decorates with 750 pounds of frosting. D'Amici's Bakery is especially well known for its wedding cakes and we are the exclusive wedding cake provider for many of the area's wedding facilities. We also deliver wedding cakes all over New England.

This is a Lynn landmark. And although my family no longer lives in the city we still make treks to this bakery on holidays to get what have now become family staples like cream bread and pastries. The cream bread is to die for and I could literally eat a whole roll myself! And the pizza is good too!

OMG the best apple squares ive ever had !!!! this is the place to stop at ...any time day and some nights late they have it all, ive lived in east boston where one of the most famous bakery is but let me tell you this place is over all the best for cupcakes and cookies and selections here are much fresher im impressed and hooked! and the pie's wow!

I had a surprise birthday party for my brother who turned 40. The theme was Elvis goes to Hawaii. I ordered a cake in the shape of Elvis's guitar. It had a picture of Elvis on it from the movie. I just want you to know that that cake was the hit of the party. I was so taken back by how beautiful and detailed the cake was. It was the best peice of 3D art, I've ever seen or tasted. Yes, it was delicious!

D'amici's Italian cookies are by far the best I've ever had. Having grown-up in Lynn, D'amici's was always a treat. Not only are the cookies decadent, but the pies and cakes are too! Growing up, we would order their apple pies for Thanksgiving. Their cakes are awesome and they are also made to order. D'amici's Bakery is a true gem!

First off, their sandwiches are pretty unique compared to standard subshop fair. Better ingredients, much more filling and far more tasty - plus, they're cheaper! My favorite is the Mediterranian, filled with *tons* of *fresh* mozerella, the freshest tomatoes, prosciutto that's out of this world. The Rustico sanwiches are huge and the price is right. The bread they serve it on is bakery fresh - and they give you numerous options.

I ordered a box of the cookies little Italian cookies and a half moon cookie. The Italian cookies were fantastic! Huge hit at the party and probably the best I've ever had. The half moon was awesome as well. Piled high with frosting and the cake part was soft and moist. loved it. can't wait to go back and try out the sandwiches and other tasty treats they have. oh yes. I'll be back.
